Entry list for Sprint Cup’s Alabama 500 at Talladega

Forty-two cars are entered into the Sprint Cup Series’ Alabama 500 at Talladega Superspeedway.
Two cars will not make the field.
Ryan Reed, who competes in the Xfinity Series, will attempt to make his Cup debut in the No. 99 for Roush Fenway Racing.Jeffrey Earnhardt will drive the No. 83 for BK Racing in his first attempt to start at Talladega.
While on the entry list, Josh Wise‘s team has withdrawn from the race.
Brad Keselowski won the May race at the 2.66-mile track. His Team Penske teammate Joey Logano is the defending winner of the fall race.
Keselowski is the only repeat winner (three wins) in the last 11 Talladega races.

Entry list for Sprint Cup’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte

There are 40 cars on the entry list for the Sprint Cup Series’ Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

After Jeff Gordon ran the No. 88 at Dover, Alex Bowman returns to continue as a substitute for Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Martin Truex Jr. won the last visit to Charlotte when he led 392 laps and won the Coca-Cola 600. Joey Logano won the fall race last year to start a sweep of the second round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Preliminary entry list for Xfinity Chase race at Charlotte

There are 45 cars on the preliminary entry list for the Xfinity Series’ Drive for the Cure 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Five cars will not qualify for the race.

The race is the first cutoff event in the inaugural Xfinity Chase and will whittle the Chase grid to eight drivers.

There are seven Sprint Cup drivers in the field: Austin Dillon, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch, Matt DiBenedetto and Kyle Larson.

The defending winner of the race is Austin Dillon, who swept the 2015 races. Denny Hamlin won the May race this year after leading 76 laps.

Entry list for Sprint Cup’s New England 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

There are 40 cars entered into Sprint Cup Series’ New England 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The race is the second stop of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
Matt Kenseth is the defending winner of the race.

Entry list for Xfinity Series’ first Chase race at Kentucky Speedway

There are 39 cars on the preliminary entry list for the Xfinity Series’ Chase opening VisityMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway.
Ryan Blaney is the only Sprint Cup driver in the field, driving the No. 22 for Team Penske. Blaney is the defending winner of the race.
Matt Tifft will drive Joe Gibbs Racing’s No. 18. It will be Tifft’s first Xfinity start since undergoing brain surgery on July 1. Tifft made his first NASCAR start since the surgery last weekend in the Camping World Truck Series.
Only one car, the No. 72, does not have a driver attached to it.

Entry list for the Sprint Cup Series’ Quaker State 400 at Kentucky

There are 40 cars on the entry list for the Sprint Cup Series’ Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.
Ty Dillon will start in the No. 95 Chevrolet for Circle Sport-Leavine Family. It’s Dillon’s first Sprint Cup start since the Michigan race.
The defending winner of the race is Kyle Busch, who led 163 laps on the way to his second win of 2015.
Kentucky just completed a repave of the track surface and reconfiguring Turns 1 and 2 from 14 to 17 degrees.

Entry list for Truck series race at Gateway Motorsports Park

The Camping World Truck Series has a standalone race this weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois.
There are 34 trucks on the initial entry list for the Drivin’ for Linemen 200.
With the Sprint Cup Series at Sonoma Raceway, there are no Cup drivers entered into the race.
Cole Custer is the defending winner at Gateway, which has hosted 15 Truck races since 1998. This will be the third Truck race after a three-year absence.
Rookie William Byron will seek to win his third race in a row. That hasn’t been done sinceKyle Busch – who owns Byron’s truck – did it at Kansas, Charlotte and Dover in 2014.
