NASCAR CEO addresses Trump, title sponsor, more in Associated Press meeting

NASCAR CEO and Chairman Brian France met with members of The Associated Press during the news organization’s’ annual APSE Commissioners Meetings in New York City.

During the meeting, France answered questions regarding multiple topics. These included his endorsement of Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, where NASCAR is in obtaining a new title sponsor for the Sprint Cup Series and the sanctioning body’s position on North Carolina’s HB2 bill.

Here’s what France had to say.

Twitter:
France expects decision soon. Sprint's sponsorship runs out after 2016. "There's no playbook when it comes to a billion-dollar sports deal."

Brian France on finding NASCAR title sponsor to replace Sprint: "We're ahead of schedule, where normally these things take longer to do."
