Daniel Suarez tops first Xfinity practice at Bristol Motor Speedway

The first of two scheduled Xfinity Series practices at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Food City 300 was topped by Daniel Suarez, who finished the session with a best speed of 126.046 mph.

The session was cut short by about three minutes due to the threat of severe weather.

The top five was made up of Regan Smith (125.782), Austin Dillon (125.330), Brad Keselowski (125.020) and Kyle Busch (124.587).

Busch had the best 10-lap average speed at 124.005 mph.

Brenna Poole recorded the most laps in the session with 37.

Ben Kennedy fastest in first Xfinity Series practice at Iowa

In his first career Xfinity Series practice session, Ben Kennedy was the fastest driver on the track.

Driving the No. 2 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, Kennedy took a speed of 132.448 mph to the top of the chart during the series’ first practice at Iowa Speedway.

Kennedy is making his Xfinity Series debut in the American Ethanol E15 250.

Following Kennedy was Sam Hornish Jr., who is competing in his first NASCAR race of the season. Hornish also had the best 10-lap average speed at 129.419 mph.

Filling out the top five was Elliott Sadler, Erik Jones and Daniel Suarez.

Ty Dillon fastest in final Xfinity practice at Charlotte

Ty Dillon claimed the fastest speed in the final Xfinity Series practice for the Hisense 4K TV 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Dillon posted a top speed of 181.342 mph while recording 48 laps in the session.

Daniel Suarez was second fastest at 181.056 mph while also recording the best 10-lap average for the session.

The top five was filled out by Erik Jones, who was fastest in the first session, Austin Dillon and Brennan Poole.
